On our acquisition of Peru Reports & why we believe in Peru

By February 1, 2018

Dear Peru Reports readers,

My name is Conrad Egusa, I’m the CEO of a media incubator called Espacio. Today we’re announcing that we’ve acquired Peru Reports. Peru Reports was founded in 2013 by Colin Post to provide in-depth coverage of news, economics & politics in Peru to readers worldwide. The publication is cited as a resource by Bloomberg News & many other organizations throughout the world.

Peru Reports was able to grow because of its founder Colin and mission. That mission that made Peru Reports so special is why my team and I believe so much in this publication. We’ve been fans of it for a long time. And we share Colin’s view that Peru is an important part of the world and that it deserves more.

The new editor of Peru Reports will be Arjun Harindranath, who was born in India and studied law and philosophy in New Zealand before moving to Latin America to pursue writing and journalism. He has lived and worked as a writer in the UK, Germany, India and Colombia.

My team and my aim is to further the legacy of Colin, and to remain true to the mission of building a leading publication covering the country of Peru. We believe in what Colin has built. And we have big plans for the future.

Upcoming investments into Peru Reports include an expansion of its editorial newsroom, investments into video, and a series of events in 2018.

Best wishes and thanks for your time. If you have any questions, please write me at any time at [email protected].
